Shop the wares of over 200 dealers that have everything from antiques indie designer apparel. The market is located on Randolph Street between Ada Street and Ogden Avenue. Tickets are $20 and $25 dollars and portion of the proceeds benefits Chicago House. Tickets also include re-entry for the entire weekend and include a $5.00 voucher on purchases over $25. I can feel the excitement building just talking about it! Visit Metro Mix for more deets.
Sunday, June 24th
Catch day 2 of Chicago Summerfest in Lincoln Park. Beginning on Saturday, this 2 day event attracts over 25,000 people to hear great music, food and drinks (you can’t be at a fest in Chicago that doesn’t include food and drinks!) Summerfest is a family friendly festival with something for everyone! Visit local artisans’ booths and take home some awesome jewelry too! For more information on the fest, visit Star Events.
Monday, June 25th
I know the weekend is over, but if you happen to be doing nothing on Monday, there would be no better place to be than Ravinia listening to the sweet sounds of Esperanza Spaulding, sipping a glass of wine and cuddled up with your boo, or girlfriends, or mama. Whoever your with, get to Ravinia and check this hot chick out. If you don’t know who she is, get familiar with her because her music is dope! Visit Ravinia for information on tickets.
If these don’t suit your fancy – although I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t! – visit My Lifestyle Zen for more ideas! Patrice always knows where to find the hottest spots!
